Baby Christensen

Can't believe it's the end of March, haven't updated my blog for sometime. As you can see from the Prom picture that Aaron went to his junior prom, Andrew didn't want to spend the money and go. Marc and I also went to chaperon since Aaron is a junior class officer. Aaron had a lot of fun and took a really cute girl. They did a camera scavenger hunt for the day activity then he took her to Maddox for dinner and the prom was held at the Dee Event Center. It was decorated really nice. He said he had a really fun time. Marc and I did also, I thought it was fun to see all the kids dressed up and all the girls in pretty dresses.
February was pretty uneventful month, I did have a birthday but we won't go there. We are down to the last quarter of school now on a couple of months left now until summer vacation. Aaron and Andrew are all registered for their senior year of high school. That's a scary thought. Aaron is running for Student Body Office or Senior Class office again, hope he makes it. He has enjoyed it for the last 3 years. He and Andrew are both still skiing when they can. Hailey is still working and finishing up her spring semester. Marc's work has picked up again, so that is a good thing. I keep busy at school, I have picked up helping with the cheerleaders again and have really enjoyed being involved again with the girls. Just had tryouts for next year so we will have 12 very cute girls. The rest of the family is doing great, Logan did get laid off but was able to find a job with in 2 weeks, very lucky. Jenna is doing fine and has less then 3 months left until our granddaughter is due, no name yet. Tyler and Tracy are doing good, Breckston is running and is starting to really talk and put words together. They think he is a hand full but grandma sure doesn't! He is so cute! Well hopefully it won't take me so long to update next time.

January Update

January is coming to a quick close, thank goodness. It's been cold and snowy! I am sure February will bring much of the same. Looking forward to a change that is for sure. Great news! We are getting a baby granddaughter! Logan and Jenna found out a couple of weeks ago. It will be great to have one of each! It will be interesting to get use to having 2 little ones around. Breckston is so much fun and all over the place, he is slowly getting his teeth in. He is such a good little boy. He still loves "bob", that's his most consistant word he says. I really wish I could take care of him more but I guess that is what happens when you are a young grandma and have to work, you are never home to babysit. Everyone is doing great. Boys are skiing when they can and Andrew is playing indoor soccer and looking forward to trying out for the high school team. Work is slow for Marc right now. Hailey is busy with school and works a ton. I keep busy with work and YW.

Happy New Year!

Well Christmas in long over and put away and the New Year begins! We are all back to work and school. Not so sure it's a good thing being back to work, boy I miss sleeping in. Only 7 more school days and school is half over for the year. It has gone by pretty fast, hope it continues to do so. It has been snowing a lot and so there is no lack of that white stuff. It's made the roads interesting and a lot of snow blowing for Marc and the boys. Christmas was good this year, only three kids at home. We had all the kids for breakfast and then opened presents. Apparently Breckston got spoiled by grandma, but he is the cheapest to buy for. Oh well, next we will have two grandchildren. Hopefully we will find out what Logan and Jenna will be having next week. Hope every ones year is off to a great start!

Family Pictures 2008

We were finally able to get our family together and do family pictures. It's been 5 years since our last one and we have added 3 new people. We had a lot of fun doing these. The pictures were taken at my grandfather's barn behind my mom's home. The Family pictures area a gift from out kids for Christmas this year, great idea! Thanks kids and lots of love to you!

December

Not a lot going on at the moment, just working on getting Christmas done. We have had one family party and have a ward party and my work party to go yet. All decorations are up, put up new lights outside. The ones we have had for 16 years gave out on us. We did it nice and simple this year. We are getting some snow and we are expecting more this weekend. Andrew has already gone skiing up at Snow Basin on man made snow. Aaron and Andrew have the high school Snow Ball dance this Saturday that they are going to. Breckston is starting to walk now , only when he wants to though. He is such a character. We got to have him yesterday for awhile and it was so much fun. Just a good natured little guy, thinks it's a game when he is fighting over toys with other kids. He had us laughing pretty good.
We only have about 7 1/2 days until we are out for Chirsmas break can't wait. Really need a break to enjoy family and just hang out. We are having family pictures Friday, hope they turn out, it will be a first since before Tyler went on his mission like 5 years ago. Lots has changed.

Baby Due Date

Logan and Jenna went for their first doctor appt. Gave them the due date of June 22. Logan says the ultrasound of the baby looks like a gummy bear. They are very excited. Everything is going great for them, they are in the proses of trying to get a new home also.
